The Chairman will read the following announcement:

“Welcome to this meeting of the Cabinet which is being filmed for live or subsequent broadcast. Attendance at the meeting means you consent to being filmed and any images and sound recordings being used for public broadcasting or for training purposes.

The notice provided at the entrance to the Council Chamber gives further details about the use and retention of sound and image recordings by the Council”.

To confirm the minutes of the meeting of the Cabinet held on 11 February 2025.

To consider any matters arising from the minutes.

To note the most recent version of the Council’s key decision and private meeting notice, and any published exception notices.

To consider any referrals to the Cabinet direct, or arising from the Scrutiny Committee, Council, or other sources.

To summarise the Government’s proposals for English Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation and to seek agreement to the interim proposals being submitted to the Government on behalf of all councils in Hertfordshire.

Resolution to be moved:-

“That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) to the Act.

Any other business the Chairman has determined be considered as a matter of urgency.
